Romans 10:9-10 1 John 1:9-10

The Sinner's Prayer or Pray of Salvation is a prayer a person prays to God when they understand they are a sinner and in need of a savor.

Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

1 John 1:9-10   If we confess our sins (to God), he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I now invite you into my heart and life. I say you are right and I am wrong. I choose to love what you love and hate what you hate.  I trust you as my savior and follow you as Lord.  Make me who you want me to be. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and cleansing me from all unrighteousness.
